UTS Group's Engineering is led by and employs staff members that have many years of experience working for and with major electrical utilities in key or critical roles. We have a track record of providing critical reviews of systems and processes that help with the identification and improvement of operations and organizational structure.
This type of work can cover many different areas but include capital plan review and development, target reliability improvement, system safety evaluation and recommendations, systems and process evaluation for efficient operations and cost savings.
We have performed systems evaluations for wildfire mitigation and safe operation in fire prone areas. We have performed capital plan recommendations to prepare electric systems for the evolving needs of a distributed generation or high electrification environment. We have performed critical reviews of system reliability and organizational structure to improve operations and customer experience. We perform evaluation of safety culture and safety performance to move an organization forward to the next levels of safety performance. We can review emergency response structure and performance during the most critical times of need.
Detailed capital plan development or review of capital planning is also our area of expertise. We have experience planning and scoping major capital projects and plans and have a team of experts that are certified cost estimators for electric construction projects.
